Ovulation Test Kit

Use this test to determine when you’re ovulating and maximize your chances of becoming pregnant. An egg is released every month. Once released, there is a small window of time when it can be fertilized by a sperm. If an egg doesn’t meet its male counterpart, no pregnancy will result.

Ovulation Test

Tested2’s ovulation test detects luteinizing hormone (LH), which rises or ’surges’ 24-36 hours before ovulation. With the test, you can determine when you are most fertile.

The process of ovulation is controlled by the hypothalamus of the brain and through the release of hormones – Luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicle-stimulating hormone.

Ovulation is triggered by a spike in the amount of FSH and LH released from the pituitary gland. During the luteal (post-ovulatory) phase, the ovum will travel through the fallopian tubes toward the uterus. If fertilized by a sperm, it may perform implantation there 6–12 days later.

In humans, the few days near ovulation constitute the fertile phase.
